There were two major takeaways in the first Himalayan Legislators’ Meet held in Kohima on September 27, 2013.

Second, the legislators of Nagaland, under Chairmanship of the Nagaland Assembly Speaker Mr ChotisuhSazo, decided to form the Nagaland chapter of GLOBE India. Nagaland MLA Mmhonlumo Kikon was assigned the task of completing the formalities within three months. Once constituted, Nagaland will be the second chapter of GLOBE India after Sikkim.

The Meet was co-chaired by Mr K T Gyaltsen, Speaker, Sikkim Assembly, and Assam MP and secretary general, GLOBE, Mr Bhubaneswar Kalita.
